Help for my avatar

Can somebody help me make my avatar have an invisible background, for some reason when I save it as PNG it re apply's a white background.
Here's the PSD:

thats not a psd, thats just a jpg image, unless im lookin in the wrong place

In ps when its transparent go to:

-file
-save for web devices
-png

should work, or just fill the bg with #e9e9e9
(mpgh gray bg)
