Dogs seem more like a pet where they want to be and spend time with you while cats just seem like a more independent, do their own thing type of pet. I would love to come home and be welcomed by a dog. They are a lot more playful from my own experience. Would love to get a Corgi.

I've had both, I prefer dogs by far. Cats can be nice companions, but my dog is more loyal to me than anything or anyone ever has been.
