    Question Asus U36SG - i5 / 8GB / 750GB = Slow

    Hello guys,

Don't know if this is the right section to ask this.

    I have an Asus U36SG:
    i5 2410m Dual-Core 2.9GHz (turbo)
    8GB 1333MHz dual channel (i upgraded to 2 slots)
    Hitachi 7200rpm 750GB (2 weeks usage)
    GPU GT610m 1GB DDR3

And I have CS:GO + Firefox open and my laptop lags a lot. My firefox suddenly stops responding and thing like that.
I already check for malware with Malwarebytes, I also have MSE installed and updated.

My laptop temperature while gaming is 90º (I will buy a vaccum later) and around 40º with game closed or in lobby.

Can you guys give me a light?

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Maybe its your internet dude? That should be fast enough to handle csgo and firefox IMO.

As funny as it might sounds I had this prob before on a similar build as yours and I solved it by disabling turbo boost. It makes my cpu heats up real fast and it will throttle which makes it slower.

Take the computer to ASUS store/send it in to let them get it checked up on. Also, it's an ultrabook, it's not meant to have games like CS:GO played on it, so probably a beefier PC would be the best choice.
