Is it possible to make mod menu work again by downgrading to 1.24/1.26?

I cannot test it right away, so if there someone who tried this method plz tell me if wotking or not.

Some mod menus still work after update if you use the eboot from last update although your friends cant join unless they have the same eboot
I use the SPRX mod menu called Riptide v1.7

If you downgrade you need to use mods for whatever version you downgraded to. Keep in mind you will only play with people from 1.26 or 1.24 if you downgrade to them. You won't see anyone with the new DLC which is pretty much everyone.
