I still use my NZXT Hue. As far as the LED strip is concerned it's rather lack luster. It's surely not as bright as others, nor will it fit every case. I have an NZXT H440, and as you know there are zero drive bays, so I have the hue sitting in the back on the floor. But, the LED controller has 3 or 4 modes, I don't recall and it's RGB, so it has plenty of options. As far as I know, you can connect different strips to it so long as it is a 4 pin strip.

Not the best camera, not even mine, but my phone is still fucked meh.
    Computer Specifications:
    Case: NZXT H500i
    PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750W
    Mobo: Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra
    CPU: Intel Core i7-9700K
    CPU Cooling: Kraken x62
    RAM: Gigabyte Aorus 16GB(8x2)3200Mhz
    GPU: Asus 1080 Strix

I've got an Phantom 820 which came with the HUE Lighting system by default and probably one of the best Lighting systems going around.

The actual strip though, ehhhh. It would be a lot better if they were closer together/more LED's on the strip, but meh. Also the brightness of the LED's, at least in my case aren't bright enough to really get the full effect. all the way though, the middle is just kinda eh.

I mean. You can do that or you can buy an LED strip with controller like this: It is only 12USD on Amazon.

You get what you pay for, These will not be of the same build quality as the HUE, however they are extremely bright, and the hue doesn't come close in terms of brightness.
