[06-03-2007] Colorful

Okay after being determined to come up with a new style(so tired of the c4d smudge thing) I've spent quite awhile developing this one. Its a mix of c4d, gradient maps, color manipulations, and clipping masks. Tell me what you guys think of it. In my opinion, it's the most sophisticated signature I've made and I'm 110% proud of it.

This is what the sig looks like without the stock(its a stock, not render) and if I were using a render, I would render it myself =P


I have a huge c4d render folder that I pick and chose various c4ds from, I don't really remember all of them but I can remember using about 4-5 different ones of this

what tutorial are you talking about? o.O no one mentioned a tutorial at all
the reason why it took long was because this is the first time I've stepped out of the box and tried something new, I wanted to keep it simple and nice and I'm very picky about small details soo I played around with options I've never messed with before, hiding layers, adjusting opacity/fill, and going through all of the blending options to see which ones are just right.

I agree with your opinion.

2 problems.

1) The white border is there and it's not there. You can see it sometimes, but the rest of the time it just blends in and acts as if it is nonexistent. Although it is probably the right color to go with, as it was inevitable.

2) Are we supposed to be able to read some of that text, or is it just for show...?

^.^ this is by far the best sig I have ever seen thus far on the forums.

I would definetely give it a 9/10! It's just that some of your themes and decisions, contradicted.

So, i havent posted here in a good while but when i saw this sig i needed to.

So my first thought is, "people must actually be getting better at Photoshop here". I didn't know if that was true but then your signature made me believe that it is true.

The colour is very nice, a flow of soft and hard colours creating a trance, but what did you want your main focus to be,Most people aim for the corners to have the attention i find, Your text seems to capture my eye quite abit too much even.

If i have anything bad to say i shall say this, tone down the text detal and work on picking a stock that has more colour to it. Great job overall and continue, Have any questions or need any help ask. I may be washed up but i can still do enough.
