Ok so while scavenging the internet i found a fix to this godforsaken error, and its really straightforward.
You have to download the old battleye files, link at bottom.

First you need to navigate to your steam folder, then steamapps, common, arma 2 oa, expansions, then delete the Battleye folder in expansions.

Then, go to start, my computer/computer then go to C:Users/(your user name)/AppData/Local/Arma 2 OA and delete the battleye folder inside

Then navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye and inside put the two battleye exe's

Verify Game Cache on steam then it should work!
