Changing Apaches Port and Skypes Port

Just so you can access PhpMyAdmin + Skype whilst server still being online (this applies to fabiano source)

Just navigate to

Edit it with Notepad++
The port will be on line 58
Will look like

Listen 80

Just change to

Listen 8080

File > Save (On Notepad++)
It's easiest that way

I changed apache port to run off 8080, Server.exe runs off 80 by default.


Or you can just use HeidiSQL so you dont have to change any ports at all. But eh, some people prefer phpma.

And for Skype.. eh. self explanatory.


Then edit this as it is in the pic, it will stop Skype from using port 80 AND will also hide your Skype IP (make it unresolvable)


This is just because I've seen a few posts recently about occupied ports and what not.

since apache and skype use the same port (80) by default and scrubs are like "y duz server.exe saying something is usin port 80 oh no"

Uhm this was posted like 5 months ago, and how is it wrong section? Its showing how to change skypes port/apaches port since when not changed they have the same port (80) by default and people don't realize that and always post a help request asking why port 80 says occupied.
