How to edit .ff files of Advanced Warfare folder?

Today I found a .ff files of the new weapons (STG44, SVU,...) and I want to know how to edit/activate these weapons through the file.

Tho i question howmuch you could do with them, you gotta read them with some special reader i suppose..
Or convert them to other types of files(not sure if possible..???). Many skins etc come in strange formats but are editable in some ways.
