Now I know this is not all about GTAV but it still involves it. This morning I load up my game and play at a normal frame rate and normal temp. About 7 minutes into playing all a sudden my computer restarts so I log back in annoyed as hell with no troubleshooting options available. I reload once again to have the same experience 7-10 minutes then restart. The 2nd time logging in the action center lights up saying fix nvidia graphics driver so I try to trouble shoot but it won't download solutions because "I am not connected to the internet" I have downloaded all driver updates but this does nothing please help me I cannot play any game for more than 10 minutes or my PC will shut down completely. I bought this pc from powerspec and my specs are Intel Core i7-4790K Processor 4GHz
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
16GB DDR3-2400 RAM
2TB 7,200RPM Hard Drive
240GB Solid State Drive
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
24x DVDRW Drive
Multi-in-One Memory Card Reader

Then the problem maybe its a thing of the cables, something it's wrong connected, either it's the video card or the DDR memory wrong connected.
OR
If everything is well connected, the cables are bad.
Wait you didn't say your power source. What power source does this PC have? to run that video memory and Ram at max you need at least a power source of 800 W or 1200 W

What OS do you have? Try to disable automatic restart (blue screen) and there should be your error

When the cables are made, it can happen that they made them wrong or they used crappy materials to make them, or that the connections inside the cables are wrong, so they can't handle the amount of power that the rest of the PC wants to use.
Or the connection between the cables and the components of the PC it's kinda loose
That's how can it be faulty cables from an one week old PC.
So there are problems like this when you build the PC, it restarts itself after a while because the cables are not working as they supposed to.
It can be the video card or the ddr memory, but those are from good companies, so it's most probably a problem from the cables, It's just my opinion, and as an advice, the best you can do it's complain to the place where you ordered it.
If this kind of problem happens 1 week after you bought the PC, it's just bad luck.

It can happen, it's strange of course, but they don't test the PC with a lot of games. And for the looks of it he is forcing the PC to it's limits with games.
As I said, It can be just bad luck and also I can be wrong and maybe the problem its coming from a different thing. The best thing he can do is complain about it with the company where he order it from. If this keeps happening of course.
99% because the cables.
Or maybe it happen something when the computer has been built.
Something in the wrong place.
Happens sometimes.
Did you built it by your self?
If yes i would build it again.
If u bought it
send it to the company who made the PC.
They will check everything, but it will take 2-4 weeks
Had that same shit like 2 months ago
This looks to be solved
