gLua is easier, but you can't achieve everything with it and it's slower for some tasks (especially heavy math operations)
C++ isn't much harder and you can achieve anything with it, but it'll take you more time to master it

I'd say you might want to learn C++ if you want to move on other games later or for more complete cheats, but you might like gLua because it's easier
but with the 5-6 persons that knows C++ on thoses forums, you're not going to get much help
