MPGH has experienced drastic financial changes over the past year. We have tried our best to keep them from affecting your experience, but I fear we have come to an end and we must enact changes, or risk going under. We currently lose over $5,000 dollars a day for hosting our dedicated servers that are protected by Level 9 DarkNet Cisco Routers to stop our targeted daily DDoS attacks. Unfortunately, the bandwidth costs alone costs more than our administrators can afford to keep MPGH afloat. However, this pales in comparison to the the $15,000,000 debt we have incurred due to lawyer fees from fighting off simultaneously lawsuits from EA, Activision Blizzard, Nexon, Nintendo, Ubisoft, and the United States government.
As a result, we have made sweeping changes to MPGH. Starting now, we will no longer allow free registration. Any member who wishes to join our community will have to pay a $10 dollar registration fee. However this alone will not cover our upkeep fees, and as a result we now will charge each member $0.20 dollar fee to make a post. Donator costs have been upgraded to $200/year, and will be required to download any hacks posted on MPGH. We will be selling posts for $1 each, which you can use to increase your post count without taking the time to post it.
We have also decided to backlog and collect money for any posts and registrations made since creation to cover our debt. This means for any member who hasn't paid already, we will be sending your personal information (which we collect from your ISP's RDPI lookup terminal) to debt collectors in your respective country. Our representatives have said, in some countries, deadly force may be authorized to collect these debts. We estimate this will bring in slightly over $20,000,000 dollars, which should put us in the positives till the end of the year.
If you understand why this is being done, show your support for MPGH, in the comments. And as always remember MPGHieans: MPGH lives forever, you do not. We appreciate your understanding and support in these hard times.
