Nope! This still works. I made a new char and while the green numbers were counting down the green exp bar was still rising. After the match the exp bar was still in the same place. I didn't lose any bit of the exp bar at all. Here's better details on how to make this work:
1.)Go into BFH and refund all honor points (button on the top right of the abilities box)
2.)Close BFH and open "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Battlefield Heroes\mods\bfheroes\Objects\Items_server.zip" for vista or "C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield Heroes\mods\bfheroes\Objects\Items_server.zip" for xp. (use winrar, so you can replace the default costomization file in the zip.
3.)With the zip file open in winrar, drag DefaultCustomization.xml to your desktop, and rename it "DefaultCustomization.bak.xml" Now drag it to your desktop again, but don't rename it.
4.)Right click and edit the file that you DID NOT rename.
5.)Find your class. For example, mine was the male royal soldier.
Where you see <equipment>, add ";9000;9005" to the string of numbers.
<team id="2"> <!-- royal army (brits) -->
<kit id="0"> <!-- male commando -->
<kit id="1"> <!-- male soldier -->
6.)Save this file. Drag it into Items_server.zip.
7.)Log back into BFH and go to your Widgets section of my stuff. Your will see both VP and XP bonuses. This proves that they are not actually server sided.
7.)Join a game, and notice that the green numbers actually DO increase your exp, and from time to time, you will see that vp is added to you as well. This is NOT just visual. Make a new guy, and see for yourself how much faster he levels. (And if you're still a skeptic, watch when the green numbers count down. The xp bar will go up.
8.)Thank me if your believe... or if it works.
