    [Question] Refunding? Share experiences!

What's the most you've ever refunded at one time? I'm just curious, I've heard some big numbers but I was wondering what some other people here have done.

EDIT: Also I was wondering what's the most you'd recommend EVER doing at a time?

I don't refund in big numbers because IMO if you go above 300 dollars it gets a little risky and harder to refund. So what I tend to do is refund anything under 300 dollar and if i need cash sell that item, and buy the item which I WOULD NOT refund that is above 300 dollar.

    Over $300 isn't risky

What do you consider risky? And what do you mean by risky?

Well I don't do high amounts of refunding because it can come and bit my ass later, so i just don't. Plus that just my opinion.

Reps can only refund up to $500, after that the supervisor has to do it

There really isn't a max to refund. Its just that the odds of getting a refund get slimmer the higher the amount. That's just the basic rule of thumb for refunding.

Is there really any risk involved?

The biggest risk i believe is the banning of your amazon account. (or a mailman with vengeance)

It actually depends on the level of the rep. Some can do more without a supervisor.

Of course there is. There is risk involved in pretty much any SE service. Just some chances are worth taking knowing the risks involved while others aren't.
