Anybody know how to fix Latency (ms) lag spikes?

Been trying to play all my games today and every game/match I always get lag spikes dealing with latency (ms). It isn't my CPU/GPU and my ping stays at or below 120 in each game. We also upgraded our internet to the highest package yesterday. I can't play anything without spikes every second in each game.

Dunno why not, playing with lag spikes is fun D:, anyways try speedtest.net on each of your devices, if they all are showing around the same ping, call your ISP and tell them what's going on, if they say they are pinging your modem correctly, get a laptop/move your computer and connect directly with modem, if it's fine on your modem, factory reset your router/configure the settings/contact router-modem support
    gl

    That might fix it maybe?

If you are currently connecting your computer to internet using Wi-FI, you may experience such thing. Try a cable directly from your router/modem
    otherwise, idk...

LAN cable will do the job. Your pc wi-fi is either weak or outdated.

Hi, Hydra. This post of yours has triggered me. Can you explain me what does RAM have to do with latency? I'll be kindly waiting for your answer.

Do you have other users on your internet? (mum, dad, sis)

Does this occur at all times of the day?

Are you wired or on wifi?

I'm with @Hunter on this one, I've been triggered

Could you reply to this with answers to these following questions to narrow the issue down:

*Do you use a Networking Adapter (Such as the Netgear WNDA3100v2)?

If you're using a Networking Adapter, do you have the correct driver(s) for it?

*If you're not using a Networking Adapter, do you use built-in WIFI or an Ethernet cable?

*Are you having this problem on specific games, games in general, or just all the time no matter what?

If nothing is working, try WTFast ping reducing software. I used to get lag spikes and packet loss all the time before using this on every game, but this quite helps for the ping to be constant and there is no lag spikes too. It doesn't reduce the ping too much but it makes it constant. https://www.wtfast.com/

Unless you've edited your Registry values like I have, I don't know what to say about this. I use a WNDA3100v2 wireless adapter for my internet, but I don't know how to fix what you've got going on.
