Should APPLE create a software that FBI can access around the password disabled?

Why do you think no? I personally don't have a opinion of my own because either Yes or No has major flaws.

No. What is the major flaw here? A persons phone should not be the only way FBI can identify threats.

I mean don't get me wrong, I am not saying they should be able to access it. However imagine if a person that has been on a killing spree of idk.... 60 people and they know who it is but they don't have proof but the proof is on his phone however they cannot access it, he can still get away with it free. However if we even do give fbi and other goverment a software access to the phone then we are also putting ourself at risk of hackers using that backdoor software. As I said I cannot decide if it is good or bad.

The FBI is not asking for Apple to unlock this single phone, but the ability to create a software that can unlock any iPhone. If the FBI obtains this ability, they could use it to unlock other phones without a warrant. Even if the FBI only uses the software to search Farook’s iPhone, what is stopping the FBI from selling or sharing the software to police departments and foreign security agencies?

If someone's killed 60 people the reality is the have a gist of who the fuck they are and now they just find them.
    This is a unrealistic situation

    I say no

Would create backdoors that legitimate large scale hacking groups could use to attack big time corporations

No because hackers can use it as a loophole...

No. Unless they have valid information on a potential nuclear attack or major terrorist attack like 9/11, the privacy of 350 million people is more important than the lives of 0-10.

No, because like others have said. This isn't about one killers phone, this is about the FBI gaining access to millions of phones, a massive breach of privacy. Helping hacking groups and others being able to exploit this for their own gain, not to mention how it would make it vulnerable to other, non-US friendly Nations plus the United States own Government agencies.

First off, everyone's data would be compromised.

Secondly, the FBI has NO IDEA what's on that phone and whether it will help the case or not.

If the FBI want to go on your phone, you bet damn well they'll go on your phone.

Let's say the FBI is allowed to go through with this, there would then be a huge weakness in iPhones that could easily be exploited if the right person/s decided to give it a go. Unless you like your privacy being fucked with, no would probably be the best option.
