Ju-On: The Grudge is definitely a tense horror movie, along with both the Japanese and American version of The Ring.

A Serbian Film is more on the shock value rather than the horror value.
I've watched A Serbian Film, and uh, I haven't been able to see porn stars the same way since.

also the steven spielberg insidious is what you'd imagine of a spielberg horror movie

    scary asf

also you could just go on the more fucked up side of liveleak/mpgh/ the internet and get fucked up for days on end

    also creepypastas, I guess.

The conjuring has a few jumps at points

Insidious is probably the best bet for the "Scariest movie" though

imo the conjuring 1 and 2 were pretty scary but predictable. That's the problem with finding scary movies because once you watch enough most just aren't scary anymore.
