    Thumbs down P.O.S. Hard Drive

Second time my hard drive has died on my computer.

This time it's still under warranty. So should i just replace it with the same type and hope it doesn't break in another year or upgrade to a newer one. It's a Western Digital, i'm lookin for any suggestions.
    Thanks for the sig Ryan

I'm gonna have to replace the hard drive, and since it's under warranty i can upgrade or replace it. I'm thinking i'll cheap out and just get the same one for free...

could be something in the power supply, i think it is giving the hard drive more AC than usual.

It's only 250gb. I'm pretty sure this is the one i have, WD Support > Knowledge Base > SATA & SAS > WD Caviar Blue / SE / SE16 (SATA II)

just get an external 1tb for $150 and use that for everything.
install windows on the crappy internal one but save all your shit to the external one.
