Why I didn't switch to Linux.

    I installed Ubuntu.
It ran like a fucking dream, everything worked beautifully.
Speed was by far superior to any OS I've ever used and thanks to Compiz, it looked fucking awseome too. Since I'm not going to be doing any gaming on this laptop, Ubuntu was a good choice.

    Everything worked.
Until I installed an MSN clone called Emesene, supposedly the most used and best MSN for Ubuntu.

I logged in and it looked surprisingly good, everything looked like the Windows version. Until I noticed there was NO FUCKING GROUP CHATS

Shit, even custom emotes worked. I'm sticking with Windows 7 until they support Group chats on Emesene. Fuck MSN without MPGH1 for lulz.

The only msn client that supports group chats like MPGH1 is the official msn client for windows.
Not even the official Microsoft one for Mac does.

It sucks, but using anything but windows almost makes it worth it.
I guess Microsoft won't let devs call whatever API or w/e to use group chats.

You can do multiple user chats, but not groups like the mpgh ones.

E-buddy doesn't support group chats either. or emotes.
At least Emesene supported emotes and had colour names (usually only a WLMPlus feature)

I tried Wine aswell, but it doesn't work anymore. Wine blocks Portable WLM and the latest installers for MSN.

That slow ass Live Essentials installer?
Yeh, I seem to remember the same thing happened to me.

There must be a direct installer somewhere, right?

Linux is still far superior to windows.
If Microsoft weren't dicks by not allowing people to incorporate grouped chats, it would be

But if you use your computer for games, rather than just the internet like most mpgh members, windows beats linux hands down.
