People in this thread need to realize that they are observers of reality not arbiters. What you perceive to be true and what actual is are more often than not false. Same goes for everyone, myself included.

Haha okay we'll hold off the physics for now

But yeah what you guys are talking about is perception of time, not the actual concept of time as whole.

To use your gaming metaphor fabz; you sitting at your computer playing a game makes you not notice time passing and therefore it feels like it's sped up when you realize how much time has passed. Now consider someone sitting beside you, starting at a watch's second hand pass every rotation of every minute you game for. To them it's a living hell and time seems to have slowed to a standstill (unless you have a watch fetish). In reality you have both been sitting there for the same TIME, but your perceptions have been warped due to your focus on the measurement of time.

That's what I mean. Time has a constant speed, you can't speed it up or slow it down. It's just how put it to use that makes it seem to have sped up or slowed down.

Yeah I agree 100% that the way we perceive time is subject to change, time itself however remains constant and unmoving. People spacing in and out of time might feel as though time has sped up/slowed down accordingly but the universe doesn't revolve around them (doesn't actually revolve anything but whatever!)

Seems we're on the same page.

We have all heard the saying " Time flys by when you are having fun " right..? Well the more I think about this statement and the more I look at each day as it goes by the more my theory makes sense.

Time goes by as fast as you want it to go, my reasoning behind this is simply from self-experience.
Throughout the last week I have been noticing that I can seem to perseve time to go as fast as I want it to, what I mean is that I can basically just sort of blank out time from my mind. For example I will be sitting in my room with nothing to do, waiting for my dinner to be cooked - I just blank out time from my mind and then its dinner time.

It feels nearly identical to "spacing out" ; feeling light headed and a sense of no-where but still sensing and remembering everything that is going on around you.

Has anyone else experianced this...? Thoughts and theories on the subject?

    Looking forward to your responses.
    I'm, High.

You need to lay off the crack, buddy. Actions = time. What the fuck? Think that to yourself, I shouldn't even have to try to defend this..................... and if I do, then go read a book other than sitting on MPGH.
