It seems the action-MMO APB may get a second life thanks to K2 Network (the company behind free-to-play service GamersFirst), which just purchased the property for just over $2.4 million, according to GamesIndustry.biz sources. Those same sources say the game may be up and shooting again by year's end.
An official announcement is expected to be made in the coming week.
I feel bad for everyone that bought the game. They charged you for the game and then they charged you for additional server play once your trial period ended, and they still couldn't manage to keep the game up and running. If this game becomes free for people to play, I think poor SOB that bought the game is going to RQ life.
