Me learning piano is mainly to support me making beats... I can read sheet music. I read bass cleft though so i have to learn a whole new cleft. But most of it is actually learning the keys and chords mainly. Those are the big things.

You can't really learn piano from a synthesizer, but i can teach you:
Chords, Reading basic notes, Major and Minor scales, etc; A synthesizer limits you to a certain octave and quality.

You know there are tutorials online? Or go to your local music store and see if they have instructors.

    Tutorials don't help
I have experience with teaching myself, so maybe an IM Teaching would help him because with tutorials you can't ask questions whenever you want and have them answered
