Thats because it as 6 dimm slots which means 8gb sticks per slot. That being said, unless some new sticks come out (16gb) it seems the max supported ram currently is 48gb, to get it higher than that would mean they would need more dimm slots, which requires approximately 1.5 v per dimm slot, quite a bit of engineering needs to be done to get something that will properly scale above 48gb, whether that be 16gb sticks or more dimm slots.

Isnt it quite stupid that you, a MPGH staff, is calling a user "stupid" by believing that someday, theyre will indeed be a 80gb ram board. Seems pretty possible to me.
