In fact, I just found out like 30 minutes ago that there is like a club for longboarders in my area that get together and ride, and since they're big enough, they can get mayor approval to shut down roads for their usage like when a Marathon takes place. I kinda want to join now lol. Open roads and bridges? Yes please.

Nah, longboard tricking is a little different.

Yeah we have water all over, bro. Haha.
Sunshine Skyway is 15 minutes away. Don't really see us trying that for a while, though, lol. Probably get about 60mph+ down that. That's just asking for death if you don't know what you're doing.
Ringling Bridge is our bridge of choice. Peak at about 30-40mph depending on how you ride it.
On my phone now, replying will be a bitch, but ill try.

closing down roads... Sheesh. Talk about jelly, that makes things even more fun and safe . Damn!

And yes! Saw the video, I see lots of manuals, shuvits, and about 3 old school kick flips, then theres many cavemans and bonelesses! and are those called 6 steps or something? Longboarr terms may be different from skateboarding.... Mmz

That bridge looks awesome! Can you close that down? Lol

    I have a drivers license.

Anything similar to skateboarding is for middle schoolers.

Long skateboards. Pretty popular in Cali and beaches. I never see anybody who takes it serious though.

The 2nd one, yes. We couldn't shut down the Skyway, though. No way lol. We could go at like 5 am, though, and park on the pier next to it and walk up. It would be miserable though and highly illegal haha

I Longboard all the time i live in SD so you can skate huge hills or flat land. Do NOT buy any Loaded or Original boards they are shit and overpriced. I have a sector 9 and I love it I can bomb hills, slide, carve and all my friends that have expensive boards like mine better because its more diverse. I suggest you go to a store and try boards before buying them online! The best companies to me are arbor, landyachtz and sector 9 but be careful and buy a board that can do everything... DO NOT GET BAMBOO!!
Sector Nine 9 Star Longboard Complete <<<< Thats my board

I used to skate, and I longboared casually when I went over my mates place. It's fun and chill, especially if you have loose trucks

    R.I.P a great GM

Loadeds and Originals both make good boards. Anyone who denies that is an idiot. Also, bamboo is awesome for carving and cruising. It's much more forgiving and it doesn't crack like maple plies can.

However, I prefer maple as well. I just like the sturdiness when I'm going fast. Nice board, by the way. Arbor and Landyachtz make awesome boards in my opinion.

As do I, and longboarding is not my means for transportation. It's just fun.

Upgrading to a new board. Looked at Loadeds and Originals, but not really interested in it unless you have some info that would persuade me otherwise. Seem like overpriced brandnames to me.

Kinda looking at an Arbor Axis GT
Paris 180mm or Gullwing Charger 9"
    Orangatang Stimulus 70mm
    Bones Swiss

My friends and I go around the local downtown area, do some flatlanding and bomb garages, hills, bridges, etc. Kinda getting more serious with it now though so I'm just wondering what your opinions on what I was looking at were.

Also, do you longboard? What do you ride? What kinda places do you ride at?
You should do it off a large mountain, so I don't have to hear from you again
