Other than that I've had good experiences with Sentey cases and AMD works just fine, especially with a 955. I would suggest an AM3+ board if you do go the AMD route, though.

But OP, buying a 770 AM3 MoBo is exceedingly foolish. You can buy a cheap AM3+ board, and then not have to replace your MoBo when Bulldozer chips come out.

Crap PSU. There was an Antec 720W on NewEgg the other day I suggested someone buy, since it's also $49.99 after a MIR. I'll give you the same advice. Never skimp on PSUs, they can fry your whole machine. Suck it up, and pay for a decent one.

The RAM you're buying is utterly retarded. You can get a 2x4GB kit of GSkill 1600 for like $45-50 and save enough on your RAM to buy a not retarded PSU.
    The internet says no.

I didn't realize a good processor is so cheap now. I could upgrade easily....If I had a newer desktop. Sucks that laptops can't be upgraded

And I think it's pretty good for a budget build as you called it.

Probably modern releases for the next 1 - 2 years. I was going to start with this much then upgrade.

Could be. Were all just suggestions made by the internet.

Eh, I just don't like your CPU choices. Lets be honest now, Sandy Bridge kind of beats the shit out of Phenom II in gaming.

Not sure why you think I hate you, but ok. I don't want Intel, though, also Blitz, I don't want Anon's opinions.

Eh, I don't want to force anything down your throat but Sandy Bridge is MUCH better than Phenom.

Well, I agree with all your build choices but the Intel. Of course you get what you pay for, but then there's other factors too:
    1. I won't be running a high resolution.
    2. I doubt I'll be maxed settings on any game where Normal -> High looks decent.
    3. No multi-tasking

The games/work I do isn't power-heavy either. If I can manage Bethesda titles on higher settings for the next 2 years and battlefield 3/next major FPS purchase I make on medium - higher, I'll be happy enough.
