The Battlefield 3 beta was pushed out to the public -- and I downloaded it like many others.
For those that are unaware, you need to download 'Origin' -- EA's attempt at steam/xfire [linked here] and navigate to the free games section. Naturally, BF3 beta is on the front page.
What are your thoughts on the beta? I mean aside from the occasional model spasm or lag spike or glitch, which all normally occur in betas. I think that its visuals and sound components are amazing - top of the line. I also noticed they upped the damage and accuracy of each weapon compared to their previous titles, which is great. The multiplayer system is new and, allbeit difficult to get used to, will prove to be really handy in the future.
I only dislike that the gamemodes are very similar to their previous titles and the existance of the sheer endless amount of controls which I couldnt even remember. Also, Origin is a bitch to use and install, and compulsory profile customisation made me mad - since all I wanted to do was try BF3. I got bored of the BETA pretty quickly, also...
I think the game will season to be very enjoyable - a good competitor to MW3. I reccomend downloading the BETA to experience it as a trial before possible purchase, and so I can hear your thoughts on the game!
So MPGH, what do you think?
Honest disagreement is often a good sign of progress.
