Give me a day or 2 and I will prove that you can hear a 15Hz sound perfectly.

Until then, I'm letting this thread die.

I can play a kick on C4-C then a C5-C and it has the same Hz. The Db is just goes higher. Pitch =! Frequency
Pitch intertwines with frequency though. If you raise the pitch of a kick two octaves, it's not gonna hit as hard as before.

That's when EQ/Compression comes in to place to boost the amplitude.

^ The whole point of that deep bass is the feeling. To make it deep, it has to be a low sound, otherwise it won't hit the right frequencies to produce that oh so orgasmic vibration you feel.

Yeah, but that's besides the point. With an unfettered sound being raised in pitch, the frequencies that it hits changes. You can obviously have any sound hit any frequency with an EQ, but we're not talking about additions.

Dr. Dre beats are one of the most overrated and overpriced headphones I've ever heard of. They sound like $50 headphones. The bass sound alright, though.

But you're never going to get just the original sound/frequency.

I could less if people have money to spend on head phones go do it but in my idea head phones are head phones as long as sound is coming out then it's good.
Also whats the point in buying expensive head phones? just becuase they have more beat? spending 200-300$ i say sure if you have money to spend even when they break in a couple days. Same goes for any head phones.
Also im sure your not rich if you can buy 200-300$ head phones you dont become rich till you can get more then a Million dollars for some of you.

Hah, Bose! Overpriced, lower quality audio equipment marketed as audiophile quality.
At least Beats know their place: a fashion accessory. A damn good looking one too.

Only thing their good for is Home Theater Systems. We have one in one of our living rooms and it sounds pretty good. For listening to TV at least. But I wouldn't buy their headphones, car audio, ect.

I'd like to point out that OP might need to shut up and do a little research prior to claiming that frequency is the primary contributing factor of quality.
