    Working out?

    i want to start working out, Not sure where to start though. would like your help pleas, would like some mature answers if your not going to help don't bother posting, i'm about 6'2 around 290 pounds. just some simple stuff that i could do at home for now. also i was thinking about getting a bike for trails and normal roads any idea what kind of bike i should get?

    Here's what you should do:
    1.First of all plan a daily diet (better be a meat-based diet)
    2.Start by doing some walk in the morning around your neighborhood
    3.Train your body with low weights (to get definition)
    4.Once you get the definition start with the mass

    The diet and the walk are useful to have a balanced body weight and guarantees you the needed energy for the rest of the day (especially the walk cause it boosts your stamina).
    Remember all what you need is determination! Never give up and you will see results within a month. =) Also if you don't have enough money to buy all the weights needed you can also go for pushups, chinups and situps. (or join a gym, it's only $35/month here)

    So if you wanna start training tell me this do you think your overweight? If so start with cardio lose weight then weight lift to gain muscle
    fat on muscle = fatter
    Slim on muscle = Ripped.

    It could take some time, But if you wanna lose weight quick i would suggest using cheats t5's

    Look up some burning exercises.

    Also, reddit.com has some nice subreddits which can help like r/Fitness and r/loseit.

    It's all about motivation. Get yourself on track and keep to it. Don't let up, no matter what.

    The best way to shed pounds fast is to Jog or spend time on an elliptical trainer.
    They both suck, I'm not a huge fan of cardio but it's a necessity if you want to get in shape and maintain fitness.
    You're gonna have to get on a well balanced diet as well. Working out is pointless if you aren't eating healthy.
    Look up a calorie chart to find out how many calories someone your size should be taking in daily.
    You can probably Google a good diet plan for yourself. If you have a lot of fat atm, you're gonna want lose some weight before any serious lifting.
    You'll get much better results in definition, and much faster once you shed some pounds off.

    but yea... ur gunna want about $500 if u want a pretty decent bike to start widdd

    Don't worry too much about core/strength exercises YET. What you want is to do cardio first and lose weight, then start doing core exercises so your muscles are more defined.

    If you're serious about working out, make a diet and exercise plan. Stick to it.
    The hardest part is sticking to your plans. I'm going to start my plan again tonight (stopped because girlfriend cheated on me and it really fucked with my pride :s). Alternate between short intensive cardio and long moderately intense cardio (sprint 30 meters, jog 50, walk 20) for about an hour a day.

    Protip: If you're not underage, JOG AT NIGHT.
    a) If you jog during the day you feel very self conscience and it's likely you won't jog as far
    b) The cool night air is very refreshing
    c) The world is more interesting.

    Go for 2-5 runs a day
    I normally go for a jog/walk at night If I can't sleep. The air is cool and there is no one out late near where I live

    If you're all about getting into shape, you need to do some high calorie burning exercises. I would suggest you do some crossfit workouts. Work on all domains of exercise for about 10-30 mins. If you are sweating bullets, you know it's working.
