My cousin went through training for the royal marines, said it wasn't that tough, so I imagine the general army would be easy.

    It's time for me to...

Kso, I've been SERIOUSLY unfit over the past two years and I've been wanting to join the Army.

I need to run a mile and a half in 11:30 and it was almost impossible for me as I was a lazy shit.

Anyway, I've finally cut it down so that I only need to shave 30 seconds off my run time and then I'm ready - easily achievable now.

I've got my appointment at the Army careers office next Tuesday to hand my application and things in.

I'm really doing it, I'm going to be a soldier! <3

Let's give the British and our American friends some support.

R.I.P to all that have died.

Good luck. I've heard from my father that the training is really intense. I bet you'll make the cut though.

I'm the first in 7 generations of my family tree to not enlist in the military .

Yeah I've heard it is intense too, in Britain anyway.

Don't worry about the military thing. If it isn't for you then it just isn't for you. Don't sweat it, don't let anyone force you either.
