Up&Go isn't sufficient for work outs.

@Stevenom how many pushups do you do per day? In how many sets? What other exercise do you do?

I'm not too sure about push ups, I don't do them a lot.
I'm sure I can do a set of at least 20.
I run around a lot.
I usually upper body workouts.

If you're only working out 2 days a week you need to do something in between. Try doing 100 pushups a day (5x20 until you can do more), and remember to have a rest day

I have curls with me, all of my other equipment are at my grandparents house since they have a lot of room.
I can watch a movie and do curls.
So does this mean I have 6 shakes a week?

Right now I'm trying to gain weight.
I'm 50kg aka 110lbs.
That's why I bought the bulk mass gain.
So I still have to work out right.
What's the difference with mine and other shakes?

How tall are you?
Yes, you should consistently work out -- form a schedule incorporating exhaustion days and rest days.

I'm around 177cm.
I think I might have rest days once every three days not including weekends.
Probably Fridays and Tuesdays.

You're fucking retarded. Guessing facts? You're not a weight trainer if you didn't know that protein shakes have more than just PROTEIN in them. Just to prove you wrong I'm going to post the science behind supplements. Also, with the whole "takes two days for muscles to heal", if you really think that you have no clue what biology is. Your muscles heal at different intervals depending on their density, how often they are used, and the mass in total.

First we'll start with creatine. Let's go right down to the basics because you do not know them. There are three types of muscle fibers in the body, slow twitch (or Type I muscle fibers), Fast Twitch (Type IIa muscle fibers), and Type IIb (fast twitch glycolytic). Type I fibers have high oxidative metabolism capacity, and almost never fatigue. These fibers TONE, and build quickly. High reps low sets. Type IIa have oxidative-glycolytic metabolism capacity. These also do not fatigue as quickly as Type IIb but do so more than IIa. Type IIb are all about building muscle mass. They do not take in as much oxygen, almost none into that portion of the muscle, which they can also store for later use. A chemical called CREATINE PHOSPHATE is a major source of energy for these muscles during the workout. It allows for the muscles to pick up heavier weights and train for longer without fatigue.

When Type IIb muscle fibers are worked out correctly they become large, and store large amounts of adenosine triphosphate and CREATINE phosphate. The ATP is used up first, and the CREATINE phosphate is used when the ATP is depleted for a quick but large burst of energy. CP also rapidly generates the amount of ATP needed to refill the IIb fibers. What CREATINE monohydrate does, is when it digests and asbsorbs into your bloodstream it fills in for the CREATINE phosphate, but does the exact same job. So no, it is not harmful, that is the SCIENCE behind it you fucknut.

Now for protein shakes. Whey protein is a mixture of globular proteins. Peptides in whey (lactokinins) inhibit the compound angiotensin converting enzyme. ACE encourages fat cells to grow. This is elementary grade biology. Whey has a high calcium content, which stimulates the compounds used to repress the growth of fat cells. Whey contains glycomacropeptides, which stimulate cholecystokinin. Whey is an abundant source of BCAA (you probably don't even know what this acronym stands for), which also contain leucin, which stimulate protein synthesis. Rapid protein synthesis = more food for your muscles to repair quicker.

You've obviously NEVER done any of the scientific research behind ANY of these supplements. And you ask for my sources instead of google'ing? Meanwhile you're making bullshit statements that have NO evidence backing them up whatsoever? Yeah, fuck off rat. You know nothing about weightlifting.

@Stevenom don't listen to Poison, he doesn't know anything about supplements or weightlifting. On days you're not lifting have only one shake, but on days you are take two, this will keep your fat from building on off-workout days.

---------- Post added at 07:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:44 AM ----------

Adding: There's not too much difference between protein shakes to be honest, it's a money thing. GNC has nothing to offer more than its competitors, but is overpriced to hell. As long as you get 100% whey protein (usually isolate) you'll be fine.

Do you alternate with casein and whey? Or two different brands? I found taking casein ever few days boosts my results dramatically.

Quick tip, you'll see quicker gains with a curling bar than individual dumbells.

One suggestion, don't listen to old retarded men.

I alternate between Whey and Synthia-6. No idea wtf is in Synthia-6 but it tastes good but it does give me the shits if I don't alternate with that too. I don't use casein, it feels like some shady shit.

Casein is for rapid protein synthesis, it does the same thing whey does but it forces the protein to synthesize much quicker, whereas the whey allows protein synthesis over a period of time. I like whey because it continues to feed my muscles while I sleep, where the casein is only beneficial right after the workout.

---------- Post added at 11:32 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:29 AM ----------

let me rephrase get the one with the hgihest proteing content with balanced carbohydrates, and just ask the clerk at the store for the most popular one. Expensive ones with the same protein content as a cheaper one isnt better btw
