    Gaming mouse help

I just bought this razer abyssus and its pretty weird ingame...
When i make a 'quick' movement and i mean quick it goes to the opposite direction like 3 cm?

Its 3500 dpi and i like it like that but is this supposed to be the 'no drift control' feature, if so how can i turn it off i tried googling?

thank and rep+ to who ever helps ^^

Go get a replacement... sounds broken. It shouldn't go to the opposite direction, last time that happened to my Microsoft mouse, I threw it at the wall and then the mouse kept pressing random keyboard buttons. RETURN IT BEFORE ITS TOO LATE>

No yeah it's broken. It means the sensors on the bottom aren't working correctly.

Doesn't hurt to get a replacement.

That or CPI is too high. Or your surface isnt right for the sensor. Or there is dirt/dust on your surface, or on the sensor itself.

Remember to clean the sensor off too. A good blow should suffice. I got my new mouse and like the first day a piece of dust got in it and made it real unresponsive.

Still waiting on my sidewinder from @Dave84311
You sure it's not a driver or the mouse options, or the surface/mouse is just dirty?

Tried everything just contacted seller... do you have to get a special mouse pad for this mouse? my mouse pad is just a fake copy of a razer one.

Generally no. Mice have been known to be slightly better on certain surfaces, but it really shouldn't ever be noticeable.

Try using smooth movements in game and see if there is any jitter. If it wiggles or jumps while making long smooth movements, either there is dust, or the mouse is defective. If its only doing it when you snap it, keep in mind that any time you lift the mouse off the pad its going to get really weird readings, especially laser mice.
