# Thread: What the fuck is the correct GPA scale?

1. ## What the fuck is the correct GPA scale?

I'm actually starting to be more concerned about college now.

Currently, my average fluctuates between the 94 to 96 margin.
And according to collegeboard, my GPA is 4.0. Their scale:
A+ (97-100) = 4.0
A (93-96) = 4.0
A- (90-92) = 3.7

B+ (87-89) = 3.3
B (83-86) = 3.0
B- (80-82) = 2.7

C+ (77-79) = 2.3
C (73-76) = 2.0
C- (70-72) = 1.7

D+ (67-69) = 1.3
D (65-66) = 1.0
E/F (below 65) = 0.0

But according to Barreto, my GPA is around 3.7 to 3.9. Their scale:
4.0 100-99
3.9 98-97
3.8 96-95
3.7 94-93
3.6 92-91
3.5 90-89
3.4 88-87
3.3 86-85
3.2 84-83
3.1 82-81
3.0 80
2.9 79
2.8 78
2.7 77
2.6 76
2.5 75
2.4 74
2.3 73
2.2 72
2.1 71
2.0 70
1.9 69
1.8 68
1.7 67
1.6 66
1.5 65
1.4 64
1.3 63
1.2 62
1.1 61
1.0 60
0.9 59
0.8 58
0.7 57

Which one is correct?

2. Mine was done rather simply.
A: 4
B: 3
C: 2
D: 1
F: 0

Add up all 4 years and 6 hours of each year, and divide by 24 and you get your GPA. They didn't record our number grade on our transcript, just our letter grade.

3. A includes 90+ or the middle 90s?

4. it depends on which district(s) in ones state or particular area.

i live relatively close to rutgers university and i am going to ocean county college(a b.s. college mind you) and i know that without doubt that there is a difference from the gpa scale.

5. *9.5 is rounded up

6. The first one is correct I believe cuz its the same as mine..

7. A+ (97-100) = 4.0
A (93-96) = 4.0

Yeah cause that makes a lot of fucking sense.

That Barreto seems more realistic.
