    2mbit fibre connection will be slower than a 10 mbit adsl connection. Make sure you know what terms they are using to describe their speeds before choosing. There is a difference between mbit/mbyte or Mb/s vs MB/s knowing these differences will help you choose the right connection for your uses.

    2MB fiber > 10mbit ADSL.
    8bit = 1mb
    so ADSL = 1.2MB/s

    Assuming that the fiber is measured in MBytes. I doubt any Fiber optic connection will run at 2mb/s.
