NVIDIA if you want a powerful graphics card that will cost you

AMD if you want a great graphics card for a low price

Well if you have a budget AMD but if you can get crazy with your money than go with one of the expensive Nvidia ones

Its not bad, but since my motherboard is a PCI-E 2.1x16, should i go for a PCI-E 3.0 or try to find a 2.1, cause i know that the 3.0 are backward compatible

I know nothing about motherboards, so I can't help you at this one.
