Increasing Native Resolution for display on second monitor (TV)

    Hiya.

Quick response would be helpfull, also the reason I post this in General.

Basically, Im gonna watch a movie soon. However, instead of watching it on my 13 inch laptop screen, I want to watch it on my 24 inch TV screen.

Is there a way to upscale my resolution to like 1920x1080? because when I go to screen resolutions it doesnt show it there. This is just so the display on the TV screen is prettier.

    One more time:
I connected my Laptop to my TV, but need to upscale the display resolution so it fits for example1920x1080 so I have a better quality display, but my display from my Laptop screen can only go to 1366xsomething.

Make sure you're disabling your laptop screen when you plug it in, it may be limiting your resolution if it stays on. Also your tv may have some settings that sets its own max resolution such as WXGA etc, so go into the settings of your tv under the PC section and see if there are any settings you have to change in there as well. Another issue you may have is that your max resolution is set by your graphics drivers if its graphics card is kinda shitty.

Well if you have a HDMI cable you can connect it to your TV if it supports it.
