    So just got access to a pool and I need tips

    So about a week ago, my gran and gram moved into a condo, and with that condo came a giant ass poll for everyone to use. I've been growing a bit bored of my usual routines of running and lifting weights etc in the morning so is there any specific reps I can do in this pool? I'm looking for a bit of a challenge and the pool is about 8 feet deep and about 25 feet long. I'm pretty much looking everywhere from muscle endurance to breath training to weight loss.

    8 feet deep?! Holy balls I'm jealous. You mentioned doing breath training. At my freedive club we sometimes do C02 dynamics and that is doing breaststroke under water from length to length (we're in a 25m pool). Once we do a length we come up for a breath and wait about 50-40 seconds then go for another length. We do that about 40-45 times which is usually just over 1km.

    Since your pool is 25 feet long you could try swimming 3 lengths underwater and that'll make it around 25m

    Yeah, just swim around in it and play around and you should get more endurance.

    At my old house, we had a 12ft deep pool in my backyard. Was the most dope shit ever. I swear, I think I started growing fins I was in there that much.

    I live in a place where it's snowing 9 months out of the year, then amazing for 3 months. I get really good at swimming over the summer, then can't even breathe correctly the next summer after 9 months of winter.
