    SKYPE NIGHT GAMES TO PLAY

We are now playing Assassin's Creed series since it's on sale on Amazon. We have two options for Skype Nights.

    Assassin's Creed III
    Cost: $10.39
Link: USE CODE GFDJUN20 for 3 DOLLAR DISCOUNT Assassin's Creed III PC Video Game | Buy Assassin's Creed III for PC | Download Assassin's Creed III
Pros: Newer, more players, has a co-op mode worth playing, more modes
Cons: Single player is considered kinda meh, $5 more

    Assassin's Creed Revelations
    Cost: $5
Link: Amazon.com: Assassin's Creed Revelations [Download]: Video Games
    Pros: Cheaper by $5
Cons: Less players, less modes, no co-op, older game overall, not a good single player experience

We are looking more at Assassin's Creed III than Revelations, but we're still getting feedback. This sale goes to July 3.

Hows the actual multiplayer on 3? I'd suspect AC would be a very good Skype night game, but I've never actually played MP on any AC game on PC. Unfortunately I'm not at home for this night, but if it turns out good then I'd be willing to buy it for next time.

I'd recommend it. You have to consider that this is only $10 for the code, has a decent singleplayer campaign, and the multiplayer is refined. I dropped 50+ hours on Brotherhood's multiplayer alone, but after playing Revelations, it was clear they were making it better. III has more MP content/modes compared to Revelations.

Basic summary of the deathmatch mode as I remember it:
8 people are fighting in a city filled with AI characters to hide amongst. The AI characters take on the models of the players. You are hunting a player while being hunted, and the goal is to score as many points as possible. You can be hunted by 0-4 players at any given time, mostly based on your performance in the game. You get more points for making stealth kills.

Example: Your target is about to round a corner next to a hay bale. You hide in said bale and kill them when they walk close. You'll get a ton of multipliers and points for that. If you run up to your target and stab him without an ounce of stealth, you get minimal points and your location is revealed to those hunting you.

You can also stop those who are hunting you by stunning them through the unlockable gadgets/perks in the progression system. They then no longer are set to hunt you and are temporarily unable to move. If you stop a hunter, you get points as well. So the game encourages tactical and skillful play, while giving you options on how to approach a situation.

And that's just the deathmatch mode.

Can't run shit until my replacement GFX card comes in on the 7th.
I am the seer in the dark,
    the vagabond of yore,
    valediction.
I am the sum of all your parts,
    and proprietor of all.
    A miasma,
    the conclusion,
    blackmonger of Inlé,
    valediction.
    Synapses fray,
    my form now vivid,
as torpor sets and blood grows tepid.
With every ounce of flesh now offered,
I hold your corpse within my coffers.
    Knitted cells now split asunder,
    stand alongside me brother.
Take your place amongst my Owsla,
we march at dawn now and forever.
