It's normal to feel sore. It is a good sign thst you have had a good workout. Your body is replacing all the ripped tissue with newer, stronger ones (hence the growth of muscle). Take a few days rest. When you feel less sore, then go for it again. Take about 24-48 hours off. Take more if you still feel sore. If you still feel sore after a week, consult a doctor... Soreness should go away within a week. Any more is pretty weird.
Usually ice eases the soreness. Although through experience it has only helped for a while, then after it starts feeling sore again.
