    UEFI comes with SecureBoot. Prevents any access of the UEFI interface. Hence preventing any modification.
    You CAN deactivate SecureBoot on MOST computers with UEFI.

    Problem is those who's manufacturers have locked down such options. From there, you have to exploit. And that's on another level of comprehension.
    Most motherboards can go back to using Legacy BIOS boot and disabling security features like SecureBoot .

    Acer and Asus both have the option to disable it.
    Simply put it, if the OEM doesn't really allow the option to disable it then, that is breach of contract with Microsoft.

    It was made for tablets and should of stuck on those!

    Dualbooting Win7 ubuntu. Only sticking around windows because games & stuff. Can't wait to see what SteamOS will look like!
