    Thumbs down Headset Mic

    Hi all,
I have a fatal1ty creative headset, that I just found in my house. There is one slight problem though, the black spongy thing at the end of the mic on the headset is no there it fell off. Are there any alternatives to this black spongy thing? I want to Skype with friends, but I think that without the black spongy thing it will sound really bad or I won't be understandable. If I hold The mic away from my mouth and nose, will It not catch my breathing noises?

You mean a foam pop filter?
I am the seer in the dark,
    the vagabond of yore,
    valediction.
I am the sum of all your parts,
    and proprietor of all.
    A miasma,
    the conclusion,
    blackmonger of Inlé,
    valediction.
    Synapses fray,
    my form now vivid,
as torpor sets and blood grows tepid.
With every ounce of flesh now offered,
I hold your corpse within my coffers.
    Knitted cells now split asunder,
    stand alongside me brother.
Take your place amongst my Owsla,
we march at dawn now and forever.

It's a pop filter, however those pop filters used for headsets barely do shit. If you really want one, grab a tube sock, cut a rectangle out that will fold perfectly over the mic, stretch it out a bit so there are noticeable gaps between the material, then fold it over and use a rubber band to hold it on. Do not use silk, that won't do shit. Cotton or polyester.
