    Good Chicken Salads to Have for Lunch/Dinner?

    Well, Cross Country practice (off season) is starting back up for me in 1-2 months so I need to slim down a bit and start running daily again. Also, AP testing is starting next week so I need to be able to throw together a quick simple salad that is healthy yet doesn't make me want to throw it away after 2 bites.

    I can put away about 30 minutes a night to make my lunch for the next day (if I had to boil/grill the chicken, no frying please). Just wanted to know if you guys ate some decent salads with chicken that I could give a shot.

    I was thinking of something like Lettuce (all the vegetable shit), shredded/ripped boiled chicken, and some of the pecan/almond things people put on salads. As you can tell, I don't know shit about salads.

    LOL Although I do soccer and track, I don't make my own food.

    My parents make me my food and i just eat whatever they make me.

    For the most part, my meal consists of a plate of cooked vegetables, a plate of raw salad, a plate of rice, and some protein(be it fish, chicken or meat).

    I can tell you that much though, eat a lot of greens and eat less carbs during your offseason. In-season eat alot of carbs. Also keep in mind that everybody's bodies are different. So no one diet works for everyone.

    Fuck my mom makes bomb ass salad, with some green sauce, some kind of salad chips and sun flower seeds and I forgot boiled chicken with lettuce..

    I use Veggies(Cucumbers, Tomatoes, broccoli) + chicken breast + Jalapeno ranch and it tastes pretty fucking good.

    Yeah I've read that the only way a salad can become healthy is if you avoid using dressings and stick to either salt and vinegar (or something like that). Also read that wheat is bad for you (forgot why).

    But I'd prefer to use SOME dressing, really lightly though, enough to make the salad actually taste like something to me, otherwise I'll end up not finishing or just throwing it away. But I'm not like the crazy people who put enough dressing to the point where it looks like they might as well dip each piece of lettuce into a cup of ranch and eat it lol.
