I don't even see why people suppress cannabis, it makes no sense.

The ideology that if we make this legal then it will cause a moral collapse leading to worse drugs becoming legal.

It's kind of like Martin Niemöller's quote, "First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me."

"Religions are, by definition, metaphors, after all: God is a dream, a hope, a woman, an ironist, a father, a city, a house of many rooms, a watchmaker who left his prize chronometer in the desert, someone who loves you—even, perhaps, against all evidence, a celestial being whose only interest is to make sure your football team, army, business, or marriage thrives, prospers, and triumphs over all opposition. Religions are places to stand and look and act, vantage points from which to view the world. So none of this is happening. Such things could not occur. Never a word of it is literally true.”

As a Coloradan with first-hand experience, nope.
Drug-related crimes have gone down here, as well as arrests for Schedule II and I drugs.

I am the seer in the dark,
    the vagabond of yore,
    valediction.
I am the sum of all your parts,
    and proprietor of all.
    A miasma,
    the conclusion,
    blackmonger of Inlé,
    valediction.
    Synapses fray,
    my form now vivid,
as torpor sets and blood grows tepid.
With every ounce of flesh now offered,
I hold your corpse within my coffers.
    Knitted cells now split asunder,
    stand alongside me brother.
Take your place amongst my Owsla,
we march at dawn now and forever.

    Fair enough.
Riddle me this; how much morality, honestly, is there left in this world?
I'd say it has gone away with integrity and courage.

If I can't enjoy smoking a doobie in public here, then I think it's unfair if you do.

The reason why it's not legal is because the government can't profit from it.

    Close to none.

Religious maniacs and whatnot like to think they are on a quest to preserve and maintain whatever morality left in this world. Sadly, they are immoral hypocrites themselves.

I'm not going to rant(even though i'd like to) cause it's like 1 am and i got school + track practice tomorrow.

I agree with that. Weed should be legalized no question. Especially since alcohol, which is much worse imo, is legal.
