I installed .NET Framework 4.5.2 and it broke some of my Audio Setup
As the title says, I installed .NET Framework 4.5.2 and it broke some of my Audio Setup.
I have a speaker setup behind & underneath my computer, used for music, movies, and some game audio, and I have a Headset w/ Microphone that is used for TeamSpeak, Skype, and other voice audio. Recently I installed .NET Framework 4.5.2 because this program had it as a requirement.
The Audio Driver/Program I use for everything Audio related, is VIA HD Audio Deck. To connect my Stereo and Headset together, I use Stereo Mix. Now since I installed .NET Framework 4.5.2 it basically broke the Stereo Mix, so now I have to go through a few more steps to switch the audio from the Stereo to the Headset.
My processing System is Windows 7 (64 Bit)
All in all, I installed .NET Framework 4.5.2 and it broke my Stereo Mix.
Sorry for all the clutters of text, and possible confusion of my writing . Thanks in Advance!
@ajbboy123 Restore your system to a point before installing the .NET Framework.
Go to Control Panel.
System and Maintenance.
Backup and Restore Center.
Use System Restore to fix problems and undo changes to Windows. (You'll need Administrator privileges.)
If you decide to install anything, make sure it's from an official company website and for the right system (32-bit or 64-bit).
The audio on my computer once went deaf and shit, so I had to figure out what to do.
This worked fine for me, and it still works when something goes wrong with my computer.
Just make sure you know what you're installing and what not.
