I quitted crossfire for nearly a year, but I kept in touch from time to time. When I was still playing Crossfire instantly, there were plenty of hacks of all kinds. Now when I'm back playing, and noticed that new update, I didn't found any hack that used to be all over the internet. Even though, I can still see some hackers but they're not that much as in the past. What happened recently to Crossfire that I didn't notice that made the game empty nearly empty of hackers/hacks?
Yeah crossfire probably has a better anti cheat than some popular games on steam.
Those popular games, usually support Anti-cheats such as VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat). Which mostly uses wave bans, this way when you are banned, it's delayed by a few days, and maybe weeks. To prevent hackers from knowing which hack exactly got them banned.
X-trap is like nope, fraps is bad, process managers are bad. It depends more on false positives than actual detection.
I do not have an active Skype -- Always confirm via PM on MPGH when contacting me.
