    fraps

    ... hey i need some help here, if i record a 2 min. video, the size of the video is 1 GB o.0, if 7 sec. the size is 6 mb OMG i need helpe with this

    Fraps is like that. I have no idea why it does that. That's why you compress it (there's another word for it. Don't remember) and then the file size reduces.

    Also videos are normally very large file sizes...

    well, if i record with hypercam, 3 min = 6 mb (around that, but the quality + fps suck)

    When you use fraps to record, it records in a .avi format. .avi is a hq format but takes up a lot of space. If you use this: WinX Free AVI to WMV Converter - Free Convert Video from AVI to WMV Easily and Fast
    to convert the .avi to a .wmv, the total size should be around 30-40mb, with about 480p video quality. Hope I helped.

    For compress Fraps video, i use VirtualDub or Camtasia Studio 7

    5 gb= 70 MB

    JUST USE BANDICAM ITS THE BEST MUCH BETTER THAN FRAPS .

    you gotta record fraps above 30fps, around 50 or so should be good. Then you compress the clips in WMM (windows movie maker).
