If you have an dynamic ip you can always change it by:
>Right-click Local Area Network Connection. (or modem)
>Select "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)" from listbox.
>Make sure The radio buttons for "Obtain IP automatically" and "Obtain DNS automatically" are selected.
>Enter " cmd " in the Run box.
>At the command prompt enter " ipconfig /all " to see your network settings. (optional, I use it for reference)
>At the command prompt enter " ipconfig /release " to clear your network settings.
>At the command prompt enter " ipconfig /renew " to obtain new network settings automatically.
