Does anyone know if hacksheild is now checking for memory hacks? I did have everything working in my hack but now every time I use any memory hacks I crash to the ending banner. I thought combat arms change the addresses in there update or something so I checked and there all the same, anyone have any idea whats going on?
AFAIK hackshield started scanning the .text section so making memory patches to things like recoil and such will get you detected and kicked out the instant you patch it. I found this out the hard way. I'm not all too experienced with assembly yet, it stands my weakpoint, though I'm sure there's ways to get around it. Either bypassing it or getting out of the .text section all together.
Hackshield is taking the checksum of the .text section header and if the checksum doesnt match mid game hackshield will crash you, there are ways of doing hacks such as remote kill and super bullets(hooking IntersectSegment) without editing opcode.
