Ethernet cable doesnt connect to desktop anymore! Please help
I just tried installing a Netgear wifi adapter to my desktop (didnt know how it worked) and it said it had to install new drivers for it. so I did, once those drivers installed, my ethernet cable stopped working, and wifi connection popped up.
I want to go back to using my ethernet cable, but when i connect it now, it doesnt work. I connect the same ethernet cable to the laptop, and it works.
How can I go back? Halp me please. Will reward 1$ paypal to whoever helps me fix my folly

When you plug in an ethernet cable, it automatically switches to ethernet only or if you go into your router settings you can have both wifi and ethernet.
I would go into your settings and have a look, if not get a new ethernet cable
