yes they are very right your COD Ghosts has what is called a GUID or translated Globally Unique Identifier for each game you own and once Steam or Activision or whatever game developer/publisher bans you on that account linked to your account your done i was banned from COD Black Ops II Zombies and Multiplayer and i was just messing around only on Zombies and a year later they ban me me and my nephew because we were both in on it lol well i hope this is a learning lesson for all that reads this cheating on Online Statistical/Multiplayer will eventually get you banned!

I was banned by Activision on BO2 but i can still play, steam ban will afect only "steam secured server", if you are banned from steam you can still play on non vac server, useless for CoD series now, reason there's no private server. Developer/publisher and server admin ban will not afect or trigger Vac ban.

No Vac work by "game Engine" so untill every Cod release is more and more heavy modified Qake3 engine this will not afect other CoD games but don't let you add new copy on the same banned account, shared ghosts too
