100% true dat. I was originally planning getting a masters and doctorate, but fuck that. I don't need someone else's label for accomplishment. I rather work for myself and make it myself, momma. If only there ever was a game I could think of that is simple and addicting, I'd pump that shit out fast. All the stuff I come up with are too complicated and fun, need to keep it simple and casual.

On the app, someone said they were making $100 a day from 2k daily users, which isn't that fucking hard is what pisses me off. That's fucking residual money which is the greatest money you can get. I know I can make an app that does that easily, I made multiple websites that brought in that traffic pretty easily. Just kinda hesitant. Maybe I'll buy a new iPod when it comes out and buy a fucking gaypple subscription and make something some people can use. I think I got an idea while typing this , dunno if I should wait for the new iPod though fml, cuz in a way this is the perfect time to do it, but I don't feel like wasting $300 if I fail and a new iPhone/iPod comes out w/ significant changes.

Worked on it on and off. I had the fucking game complete with a web client and stuff, and just needed content, but then I decided to port it to an all flash client, which took me quite a while. Now I'm at that stage but don't have time to work on it w/ finishing my degree and stuff. So I've probably worked on it for about 6 months the last 1.5 years. -.- I made it an online world and had like 20 people playing together at one time during last summer which was pretty awesome, a lot of people enjoyed it, but I can't create enough content fast enough to keep them happy so they play for a while and leave. It's pissing me off in a way. Trying to make some money off a project to divert to hire people to make art and stuff so I have more time to work on my parts.

Well you are in the place to make a start up, at least close enough. In case you don't know, those people that are "helping" you on your app will probably expect you to pull them in if it goes big, them founder shares gets those Ferraris.

I was thinking about making a phone app w/ some ads, and just leave it running. I heard people making bank with it, even if it's not that popular, well enough to live off of. But I haven't had THAT idea yet. But it seems that it doesn't even got to be THAT idea to be popular. I made an idea planning website a month or two ago, it's pretty much ready for release. I might do some modification so people can collaborate on ideas real time, maybe save it for later. Might make that into an app. Hell, even ads on it would make bank.
